The 2008 Motorola IRT Pro Nationals is ready for “Rock and Roll It Out” action!

The event deadline has passed and draws and start times will be ready Tuesday.
Get ready to party like a rock star at this Rockin event. Over 300 players are ready to go and rock it out this weekend. There will be live entertainment on Friday night in the Motorola Players Village at 9pm featuring “Ellis Drive” playing the likes of Kiss, AC/DC Aerosmith and many more of your favorite rock tunes. On Saturday we have planned a Rockin “Party with the Pro’s” at Entourage in Schaumburg and The Renaissance Band will be playing more of the best classic rock you like.

Get ready for the all new four wall Lucite court with stadium seating as it is played on for the first time. There is a race for the number one spot as Rocky Carson fights to finish number one and Jack Huczek battles hard to retain his number one ranking and defend his title here in Chicago.

Men's Pro Qualifying will begin on Wednesday and Regional amateur matches will begin Thursday. The new all Lucite court will be present creating the sports most exciting grand slam event in history. The event will be broadcast on ESPN and streamed live on ESPN360.com and details on other networks are being negotiated at this time. International players will be able to play in all divisions offered.

This year we will be adding an IRT Pro Doubles to the event as well as a CPRT division. The event will offer a charity doubles event with the top 16 professionals on Wednesday evening. Cost of playing with a professional will be $500.00 with the funds going to a local chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Last year the event rose over $8000.00 and hopes to better that amount this year.
